The only problem was that instead of keeping his eyes fixed on Jesus, he started to observe the winds and the waves. Many still fall into the same trap even in this present day, instead of keeping your eyes fixed on the Good News of God’s grace you begin to panic when the economy is not doing as well as you expected, or the doctor’s report is a negative one. I have good news for you; God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, of love and a sound mind. It does not matter how bad things may look for you or how the odds may be stacked up against you, because all things that are seen are subject to change, just stick to the word and you will come back with a testimony. As long as you refuse to allow fear in you nothing can touch you, keep your eyes on Jesus.
